A board-certified plastic surgeon and former president of the American Physicians Art Association, I discovered my passion for glass art in 1996. Initially drawn to ceramics, I became captivated by glazing and ultimately shifted my focus entirely to glass. My work in fused glass often incorporates recycled materials like old windows and doors, blending sustainability with creativity. Influenced by the precision of my medical background, I strive for harmony between form and function. Through teaching and creating, I explore the delicate balance of fragility and strength, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.
